Next-generation, powerful 5.8GHz frequency-hopping DSS cordless telephone system features two keypads, two speakerphones and a 21-minute all-digital answering machine built into the base. Comes with one cordless handset with five-line amber-glow backlit LCD and it accommodates up to eight additional handsets (PA521). Talking Caller ID can be customized to announce the name as it's designated in your personalized 50-entry phonebook (requires service subscription). Also features Caller IQ™ that allows you to download your computer-based telephone directory into the phone via a USB cable (not included). Record two of your favorite songs for each ringer using the included audio cable. The handset's antenna features a light that blinks rapidly as the phone rings. Slower blinking indicates a message has been received. Choose a downloaded or selectable ringer plus an antenna light-up color to identify specific callers. Other features include voice paging, intercom and conference calling. Wireless network friendly. Wall-mountable base unit plugs into outlet with an included adapter; handset runs on a 3.6V 850 mAh rechargeable battery. In case of a blackout, the base unit provides up to 12 hours of standby power on 2 AA alkaline batteries (order separately). Base is 8 1/4" x 5" x 3 3/4". One-year warranty.
